Bourbon Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie PDF Print E-mail

From our gourmet "Foodie Friend" Alan S. – Alan’s Fabulous Bourbon Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie.

Ingredients:

1  cup   sugar
1/2  stick (4 Tbs) Parve Margarine
3   large eggs, Slightly Beaten
3/4  cup  light corn syrup
1/4  teaspoons  salt
2   tablespoons bourbon
1 1/2   teaspoons vanilla
1/2  cup chopped pecans
1/4  cup chocolate chips
1  frozen unbaked pre-made or home-made pie shell

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a mixing bowl, cream sugar and margarine.  Add eggs, corn syrup, salt, vanilla and bourbon.  Mix on lowest speed until blended.  Take frozen pie shell out of freezer. Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips on pie shell .  Pour batter on top. Bake for 50 minutes.  Cool on a rack.
